Electoral Code discussion in Armenia
In the beginning of March a row of public events on the new Electoral Code of Armenia have been held in Yerevan.
The event was initiated by Armenian National Congress and supported by Friedrich Naumann Foundation South Caucasus.
The series of the events included an expert workshop and 3 follow up seminars for potential election monitors among young and senior people.
Within the framework of this project election monitoring experts, election proxy trainers, lawyers and politicians gathered in Yerevan for discussing the new Electoral Code from the scope of its actual risks and challenges. The main goal of this public event was to brainstorm and elaborate recommendations and share it with potential election monitors, proxies and other stakeholders interested in controlling the voting process during the upcoming General Elections in Armenia (2nd April 2017).
