On 18-19 April, FNF South Caucasus hosted very special "Liberal Women in Politics and Economics" event in Tbilisi, Georgia. On the first day of the event Dr. Irmgard Schwaetzer, Former Federal Minister of Federal Republic of Germany and Chairperson of German Evangelical Lutheran Church's Synod, Maia Panjikidze, Former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia and Nino Ghanishashvili, from the Women Businessmen Association, addressed the participants and shared their experiences and challenges they had to face. After the discussion participants visited Nana Melkadze's designer studio, which is one of the most famous local brands in Europe. 

On the second day of the event, Ketevan Tsikhelashvili, State Minister of Georgia of Reconciliation and Civic Equality, Tinatin Khidasheli, Former Minister of Defense of Georgia, Tamar Kekenadze, Free Democrats party and Elene Proshikiani, Roma Community Activist spoke, joined the participants to discuss the importance for women to strive for success in the state sector and fight gender stereotypes in order to improve the gender imbalance in various fields.At the end of the event participants visited the garden for decorative plants "Gardenia" where the founder Doc. Zurab Shevardnadze organized the tour.
